Wildlife Safaris and Tours in Rajasthan – Planned by Safari Tour India
Safari Tour India is a tour operator in Ranthambore, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, and we plan trips across the whole state. Some guests come for a single tiger safari. Others want ten days that take in forts, lakes, desert and wildlife, and we put those together too, with the hotels, car, driver and safari permits sorted in one booking.
Our safaris cover tigers in Ranthambore, Sariska and Mukundra Hills, leopards in Jhalana and Jawai, gharials on the Chambal and winter birds at Bharatpur. For city tours, we take you through the forts and bazaars of Jaipur, the lakes of Udaipur, Mehrangarh in Jodhpur, the dunes of Jaisalmer and the ghats of Pushkar. First time in India? Our Golden Triangle packages cover Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, with an easy add-on to Ranthambore or Udaipur.
We plan for travellers coming from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and other Indian cities, and for guests flying in from the UK, the USA, the UAE, Europe and Australia. Tell us your dates, budget and where you're travelling from, and we'll send a day-by-day plan. Call or WhatsApp +91 77373 10027 (WhatsApp works from any country).

Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in one trip
Most first trips to India start here. You land in Delhi, our driver meets you at the airport, and over the next few days you see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, walk the old lanes of Delhi and climb up to Amber Fort. If you have two more days, add Ranthambore. We're from there, so it's an easy add.
Why Safari Tour India
A local tour operator in Sawai Madhopur
Safari Tour India is a small team based in Sawai Madhopur, the town at the edge of Ranthambore. Being this close means we know which safari zones are busy, which hotels are quiet and how long the drive from Jaipur really takes on a Friday.
We book Ranthambore safaris for guests who only want a jeep seat, and we also plan longer wildlife safari tours in India that take in leopards, birds and the cities of Rajasthan. Our guests come from all over India and from abroad, and almost all of them plan the trip with us on WhatsApp or email before they arrive. If you'd rather talk to a person than fill a form, call us on +91 77373 10027.
Based in Sawai Madhopur
Our office is in the town, near the park. Plan from anywhere, or visit us before your safari.
We handle the permits
We book jeep and canter seats and send the details on WhatsApp.

From our recent trips

How do I book a Ranthambore safari?
Send us your date, the number of people and whether you want a jeep or a canter. We check which zones are open, book the permit in your name and send the confirmation on WhatsApp. Carry the same ID you gave us for the booking. Ranthambore Tiger Safari
What are the Ranthambore safari timings?
There are two drives a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The exact start time moves with the season, from about 7:00 am in winter to about 6:00 am in summer. Each drive runs for roughly 3 to 3.5 hours. See the full timing table
How much does a jeep safari cost?
The price depends on the vehicle, the zone and whether you're an Indian or foreign national. A shared canter seat costs less than a full jeep, and foreign nationals pay a higher permit fee. Message us your date and we'll send the current rate. Safari prices by park
When is the best time for a safari in Rajasthan?
The parks are open from October to June. Winter is cooler and good for birds. Summer is hot, but tigers come out to the water, so sightings tend to go up. During the monsoon the core zones of Ranthambore close.
Jeep or canter: which should I choose?
A jeep (Gypsy) takes six people and moves quietly, so it suits couples, families and photographers. A canter seats around twenty and is cheaper per seat. Both run on the same zones. Jeeps sell out first, so book them early.
How many days do I need for a Rajasthan tour?
Two or three days covers one city well. A week lets you do three or four cities, for example Jaipur, Pushkar and Udaipur, or add a desert night in Jaisalmer. Rajasthan Tour Packages
Can I book from another city in India or from abroad?
Yes. You can plan the whole trip with us by phone, WhatsApp or email from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata or anywhere else in India, or from the UK, USA, UAE, Europe or Australia. We fix the plan, hotels and permits before you travel and meet you when you arrive.
Do you arrange airport pickup in Delhi or Jaipur?
Yes. Our driver can meet you at Delhi or Jaipur airport, at Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur or Delhi railway station, or at your hotel. International guests book safari permits with their passport, and Indian guests with Aadhaar or another government ID.
How far is Ranthambore from Jaipur?
Ranthambore is about 180 km from Jaipur. By road it takes 3.5 to 4 hours. There are also direct trains to Sawai Madhopur Junction. We can pick you up from Jaipur, the station or your hotel.
Can I add Ranthambore to a Golden Triangle tour?
Yes. Our 6 nights / 7 days plan goes Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, then Jaipur, with two safaris in the park. Golden Triangle with Ranthambore
